The first thing you should do when looking for a tree service is call the county and get a list of the companies that are licensed in the your county. Now that you got it narrowed down to the licensed tree companies, go to the better business bureau web page and check the reviews on those companies. (more…)
Pasco – In Pasco, in order to get a tree removal license the only qualifications that are required, you must be 18 and have a valid Florida I.D. Then the license you receive is ONLY an occupational license. There is NO experience or background check required. (more…)

Experience:In order to verify an applicant’s experience, the applicant will be required to provide evidence of a minimum of four (4) years active experience in the trade within the last eight (8) years immediately preceding the filing of the application from practicing contractor in the field for which the applicant is applying, or from contractors possessing a more qualified license. Because of strict licensing, Hernando is by far the best county in Florida for both tree removal companies and residents. The reason it’s good for tree removal companies is they don’t have every Tom, Dick, and Harry chopping up trees. If unlicensed tree companies get caught removing trees in Hernando they are fined. I guess you could say in reality there are no Brooksville tree removal companies. Simply because Brooksville doesn’t require a license nor does it offer a license. The city of Brooksville should offer a tree removal license to protect its residents. (more…)

How confident are you in your tree service?
In the city of Brooksville FL there is no license required to remove trees, although I believe one should be required. A license would help protect the customer. A customer should be confident that their tree man knows what he’s doing. Due to strict licensing customers can have confidence in their tree company. Any person with a chainsaw and truck can remove trees in the city of Brooksville. There is no way any Tom, Dick or Harry should be removing your trees. Just because a person buys a $40.00 sign and slips it on his truck does not mean he knows a thing about tree removal. (more…)
